শলোমন অবিয়াথরকে একথাও বললেন য়ে সে আর যাজক হিসেবে প্রভুর সেবা কাজ করতে পারবে না| প্রভু যা বলেছিলেন সেই অনুযায়ীএই ঘটনাটি ঘটেছিল| যাজক এলি ও তার পরিবার সম্পর্কে ঈশ্বর একথা শীলোতে বলেছিলেন| এবং অবিয়াথর এলিরই উত্তরপুরুষ ছিলেন|

So Solomon thrust out Abiathar from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD, which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.
